24-25 B&B Rodeo Members.jpeg

Each year, the members of Block and Bridle organize a Student and Open Rodeo on or near LSU's campus.

Proceeds support not only Block and Bridle, but Cancer Services of Baton Rouge and other hand-picked organizations, as well.

National Convention

National Block and Bridle Convention is located in a different place each year. LSU's Block and Bridle Club hosted the 102nd National Block and Bridle Convention in New Orleans in 2023! This upcoming year it will be located in Nashville, TN from February 3-5.

Members participate in our annual livestock show in pro (experienced) and novice (beginner) categories for canes and buckles. Species shown include: heifers, sheep, goats, equine, and round robin for species winners!

About Us!

Block and Bridle Club at LSU began in order to instill a sense of community and scholarship among animal science students. We have been doing so through our annual rodeo, Little International livestock show, and countless other service activities the club does throughout the year.
